Merry Christmas 2010

This year for the holidays we travelled everywhere. Harper was a popular girl this year.

Stop #1

First stop Grandpa and Grandma Harrell's house. So we woke early and headed out to Houston. We spent two days hanging out with family and opening presents. Harper had a blast opening gifts . She loved the wrapping paper more than the gift itself. :) She received so many awesome gifts, she got a really cool Radio Flyer wagon with a tent on top and a cooler in which we cant wait to take to the zoo, a super cute pair of Toms pink sparkle shoes and I could probably go on all night.. :) We almost needed a Uhaul to get home... We ate way to much food and got to visit Grandpa at work... And let me just say the girls team finally had a victory over the boys in the gingerbread decorating contest this year.

So we headed back after two days and unloaded and repacked for Henderson.
Stop #2
Henderson

So we left out early Wednesday morning and made it in time for a wonderful lunch at Mimi's house. Great Grandma and Grandpa White headed up and met us for lunch . We ate so much food we were stuffed. Mimi cooked an awesome Roast and salad and all kinds of desserts! We then played some fun Christmas games and opened gifts again. By this time Mimi had already been giving Harper gifts for a week so she was a PRO at getting in the gifts. So after a fun day hanging out with MIMI and Great grandparents we headed home with all kinds of fun things to keep her busy in her car seat...

So on Thursday we stayed home and prepared to get ready for Michael and Kristi to come up and spend the holidays with us. They got into town Thursday afternoon and we all got ready and headed out for Candlelight service. The service was beautiful and Harper did pretty good. She slept for the first 30 minutes and then we had to stand in the back for the last part but overall she did great. On Friday we celebrated our Christmas . I had to work Christmas Day so we did our Christmas on Christmas eve. We read our Christmas book Mimi got us and played Christmas bingo all in our Christmas pajamas. We had a nice lunch and again way to much food and then played some kinect. I will always remember Mimi skiing on the kinect , it was so funny. Harper opened another stack of gifts and Brad got us a membership at little gym. I cant wait to take Harper for the first time. The rest of the night we took it easy and I got ready for work the next day. Christmas day was super hard to leave my family but I had a great day and after work we headed to our last stop CiCi and Papa's house.

So last stop for the holidays was CiCi and Papa's house. We went over there on Christmas day . I actually worked Christmas day so I went over after work but Harper was able to wait on mommy to open her gifts and I was so grateful not to miss that part. Again she got so much wonderful stuff. Cici and papa bought Harper her gate which is now on her playroom door and some safety stuff we needed and she also got her Leap frog learning table which she loves. We then had dinner and played with all our new toys and then home to bed . I had to work on Sunday so early to bed for me. We had such a great holiday this year and it was filled with so much family and fun. This year has been amazing with the birth of Harper and our first Christmas. God has blessed us so much this year.
