Things kids say!!

Today I asked Harper what something was and she answered with the cutest word ever.. It was a little dinosaur toy in her sandbox and she was totally correct but the way she said it was hysterical. This video is not great but I hope you find this as funny as I did.

Gardening

Yesterday we had plans and they didn't work out so last minute I decided it was the perfect day to plant Harper's garden. I had been planning to do it soon but thought it was such a nice day and we had nothing to do so we headed out to Lowes. Harper had a blast picking out the plants and getting all the stuff together. We ended up going to Lowe's, home depot and target before everything was bought. Man I did not expect how much work it would be to plant a small garden with a toddler running around. I would put dirt in and Harper would take dirt out. And I would look over and she would be pulling all of the leaves off the tomato plant. So after a few hours of work and a little patience we now have the perfect little garden for Harper to watch grow.
I honestly feel like this poor garden has about a 10 % chance! Haha! Between Emma( the veggie snatcher) and Harper wanting to constantly water everything and touch it , there is probably not much chance. I hope we do get some veggies so that Harper can pick some.

Planted: 1 Grape Vine,3 Tomato plants, 2 Squash, 2 Strawberry plants, 3 Banana Peppers and 1 Sweet Pepper

So here are a few pictures of our garden day. I will keep everyone posted on the progress of our garden.

Gentle Zoo

Last Friday I wanted Harper and I to have a laid back fun day so we decided to try something new. So we left Friday morning and headed to Mesquite. We made a quick stop at JBF and I bought a few things and Harper did great. I bought 6 outfits and 1 Elmo kissing doll for about 60 dollars. Then we loaded back up and headed out to the Gentle Zoo. I have been wanting to visit this place for weeks but decided that the weather was amazing and we just headed out that way. I found it online when I was looking for somewhere to have Harper's birthday party. It was in the middle of no-where but after a few quick turn arounds we found it. It was such a fun little place. Everyone there is so nice and it was only 5 dollars to get in. They gave us a loaf of wheat bread and a bucket of feed to feed the animals and Harper went crazy feeding everything.

There were baby goats.

There were Big goats and pigs.

Sheep

Horses and Llamas

One crazy Emu

A few box turtles

Ducks and Chickens

And some Rabbits to pet.

After feeding and petting everything for a while we headed over to their play area.

Harper played on the toys and in the sand box for a while and then we headed home for a long nap and walk around the neighborhood. It was a fun place and I look forward to going back . On Saturday's they do Pony rides, and tractor rides. I am sure Harper would love that.

Update on Harper's Room

We are no where near done with Harper's room but I thought I would post a few pictures of the progress. I plan to mount her T.V. so that when she is older she can watch some movies in there. And I need new curtains, I just can not seem to decided what it is I want to get. And I need to hang her shelves and I need to find another picture because the one on the wall is to small. Also I am going to frame around her decal as well. So still lots to do but with Brad traveling so much it seems to take forever to make progress. My hopes are to finish both girls rooms before the baby comes. Haha!! So here are a few pictures of the progress! Hope you like it.

My Shrimp!

I can not tell you how many times a week I hear that Harper is little. So while we were at the coast last week shopping I found this shirt. I thought it was so funny and appropriate.

Who you callin a Shrimp!

But I cannot lie , both the shorts and shirt were 12 months in size! HAHAHA!!
Love this little girl.

Sand, Family and Birthday Parties

Last week was crazy. I worked the weekend before when the time changed and then Monday morning at 6 am we headed out to POC. We took two cars so Brad could take some stuff for work down and so me , mom , Harper, Riley and Emma went in one car. 7 hours later we arrived in POC and met Dad and Kelly. They stayed two nights with us and played with Harper. We did some shopping in town( not much considering there are only two stores) and played in the sand. Harper had us laughing the whole time. She decided to rename both Dad and Kelly on this trip. Goes to show you a toddler runs the show. We think she heard dad call Kelly 'Honey' at some point and so now that's what Harper calls her. It is hysterical. Harper kept saying " Honey Funny". Then for some reason she calls my dad " POPO" now. We have absolutely no idea where that came from but she definitely gets their attention with both names. I guess the first grandchild does get to name everyone. HAHA!! Then on Wednesday CiCi and PaPa headed down. They were there the rest of the week with us and we basically did the same things , sand and sun. It was so nice to get away but on Friday we headed back. Brad needed to stay the weekend so CiCi and MiMi came back with me to watch Harper while I worked the weekend. What a car load we had. Two grandma's , a toddler, a preggo mommy and 3 dogs. PICTURE THAT!!

Looks like a serious conversation!

First big sister shirt!

We made it home safe and I worked the weekend. We did get to celebrate Kymber's second birthday which was so fun. I took off early on Saturday and took Harper to the party. I cannot believe these girls are growing up so fast. Before long I will be giving Harper's 2nd Birthday.

Happy 2nd Birthday Kymber!!

Birthday Girl

Can't you picture them at 18 ! Yikes...

I am pretty sure I have tons to unload and lots of laundry to do at this point but I think I will spend the day with Harper. This week the weather is suppose to be yuck until Thursday so we will probably lay low and unpack. I do have some things planned like a haircut which is always exciting. Hope everyone is having a great week.

Lillian 20 week

HR: 150
Mommy's weight : Minus 8
Cravings: Anything sweet! I am so embarrassed to say that I love Pop tarts, bagels and cream cheese, cereal, steak and pickles.

We went in for our 20 week sono and we were so excited to see Lillian again. I was super nervous and the weather was horrible but we made it. We left so early because of the rain and we almost late to the appointment. Harper stayed with Cici. I think my BP was sky high and I think I may have given Brad a nervous breakdown but we made it. Lillian looked adorable. This child has such a sense of humor already. One picture we have she has her hands on her face like a drama queen and the next it looked like she was doing a toe touch. We reconfirmed it was indeed a girl and everything looked wonderful on sono. We feel amazingly blessed to have 2 healthy girls now. We did find out that my placenta is marginally low so we have to repeat a sono at 28 weeks but Dr. N is confident it will move up as my uterus grows. So I am taking it easy( or at least trying ) with no super long walks or heavy lifting until the follow up sono. We are now going to wait to go to Sea World until we see those results. We are planning a small get away with Harper in a few months before our new arrival comes. Other than that things are going good. Staying busy and time is flying as usual and feeling better with the nausea. It's so wonderful to have relief from that. I am having some back pain which I didn't have with Harper. Crazy that I am already having it but I guess it's from carrying around Harper and working 12 hr shifts. I have bought Lillian a few cute outfits and bows but soon we will buy her furniture and start on her room. I love feeling her move around in my belly already and its amazing how much we love her. Here are a few sono pictures from our visit. Next visit is the dreaded Glucose test. YUCK!! Hope it goes well with all the sweets I have been eating.

Here she is being a Drama Queen.

It's a Girl!! Again!!

The amazing toe touch.

Sesame Street's Elmo Live

Sunday we had a wonderful family day. It has been weeks since we have had the chance to hang out at a family. We bought Elmo live tickets a month ago and I had ordered Harper an Elmo outfit and we were ready to go see Elmo in action. A small piece of me was a little bit worried the huge characters would scare her, But they didn't scare her at all. Her face lite up !! She loved it.. It was so cute to watch her, every time a new character would come out she would say " HUG ..." ! She wanted to hug everyone. The show was about 1.5 hrs total with an intermission in the middle. I thought it would be really long for her but I was amazed that she stayed interested the whole time. The show was adorable and we had the best time. Harper got a Zoe doll from Mimi and we bought her a light up Elmo toy and an Elmo balloon. I believe we will be doing that again. She has been telling everyone about it since yesterday. So sweet. So here are a few pictures from our fun day.
