Just alot to say

This week I wanted to post some random things to remember. First off let me just say a little someone is getting really close to crawling . I feel like it would have already happened if her darn ears wouldn't have been so bad and if mommy wasn't adjusted to having hard wood floors. I never had that challenge with Harper. Now I hate that her little knees have the rough surface. But anyways she is pushing up and trying so hard. She already goes in circles and pushes backwards so any day now I will be officially chasing two kids.

Also I wanted to share that it warms my heart to see the girls interacting more together. I think Harper still struggles with jealousy but she loves her more and more as she starts to play with her . She loves making her smile and loves to read to her. ( or say she is) Haha... As I always say , I pray these girls always love each other and support one another for the rest of their lives. So here is a little sister love.

They are so precious.. Love my little sisters. Next I wanted to share the sweetest picture of Harper and Riley. She loves him and this week I caught her snuggling him in bed and also one night he went missing and we searched the whole house. Finally as one last place we slipped into Harper's room while she was sleeping and there he was snuggled up in her tent sleeping beside her. True puppy love.

This morning it was rainy and cold and so we decided to take it easy and I happened to snap this picture of Lillian , Mimi and Emma. Lazy Bums!!! Haha!

And Last I wanted to put in the blog a few hysterical things that Harper has done in the last few weeks. I never want to forget these things.

#1: In the new car the baby seat is in the middle next to Harper's seat behind the passengers seat. I have never been worried in the past that she can reach the baby but the other day after school we headed to the yogurt shop. Harper went in and made her famous candy filled chocolate dessert and before we left Lillian had a major blow out so I put Harper back in the car with her ice cream while I changed the baby. After changing Lillian's clothes and putting her back I loaded her up and we headed home . I had totally forgot that Harper was eating ice cream but the whole 2 minute drive home they were giggling away in the back seat and as we unloaded from the car I quickly realized WHY?!?!
Harper had totally fed the baby her Chocolate ice cream. It was secretly so funny! Although a few months to early and a little disappointing that I missed her first try of ice cream it made me laugh. Lillian was covered in it and so were her new clothes and seat. Note to self: no more food while driving. Thank God she didn't feed her anything dangerous.

Seemed to Love it...

#2: Rubberband Nose....
I have noticed lately that Harper is obsessed with her nose. It is like at 2.5 they decide to start picking their nose and it doesn't stop. It is so gross. Anyways , she came running in to Brad the other night freaking out and come to find out she had taken her hair down and had stuck the rubber band up her right nostril. Just as I was about to go in with a pair of tweezers I covered the left nostril with my finger and she shot out the rubber band from the right. It was so gross yet hysterical. I told her to never EVER stick anything up her nose or in her ears that her DR. would be so mad. HAHA.... And she told me she promised. The way she freaked out I am hoping this never happens again. But again Note to self: Have this conversation with Lillian as the nose picking starts to possibly avoid this again.

Anyways , she just really cracks me up and I will post again soon some of her little stories. But I do have to say we are now in our sassy 2's so most things are not that funny right now. We hear alot of
1. NO
2. IM MAD
3. IM LEAVING
4. IM UPSET
5. DON"T PUT ME IN TIME OUT
6. I DONT CARE
Man the Two's are challenging. But we are working through it and learning how to deal with it. And she is worth every sassy comment...

Getting Garden Ready

Here we go , another year of garden prepping. Last year we tried and learned really quick how hard in Rockwall it would be to plant a garden. The soil is all clay and it was so hard to till. So this year instead we decided to build us a garden box and do it right. It turned out awesome and we are slowly planting as each vegetable becomes ready. We already have broccoli and lettuce growing and its doing great.  This week we just added carrot seeds. First year for us to add seeds to the garden . It has always been plants instead. Hope we get some carrots , won't they be fun to pull for Harper. So here are a few pictures from our garden box in the making.

The last is my favorite. Harper tells her plants she loves them at night . It is so cute! Love this funny girl. We have added rows now and Harper even  painted some garden stones to label so I will get some new pictures asap. We also extended the play area fence so Harper and Lillian will have more room this summer. Brad was able to finish all of that and do some yard work as well this weekend in the beautiful weather.

7 Month Lillian

Seven.....
Seven whole months you have been apart of our family. I feel like you have been here forever now. Life is
7x better with you here.

Seven things to say about you:

1. You are crawling. Sometimes army crawl and sometimes on your knees. Either way you make it where you want to go. And you are one busy little girl. You also pull your self up and stand on objects.

2. You light up a room with your super sweet smile. It is a smile that is a little shy and you almost always turn your  little head into my chest.

3. You are loving food. You are more into adult food then baby food but we are working on both. Finger foods are your favorites. I can give you a french fry or some bread and you will chew it down like a champ. But you do love Apple chicken and organic mac n cheese baby food.

4. You are sleeping wonderfully. Going to bed around 7:30 and waking up once or twice but going straight back to bed in your room. You usually are up for good around 7 am. I love going in your room and seeing that smiling face as if you are saying " Good morning mommy".

5. You are wearing 6 or 6-9 month clothes and size 3 diapers.

6. You love playing with your sister in the playroom. You girls can go in there and play for a long time. Your favorite toys right now are the talking kitchen and mini mailbox. You also love your bath time. I think it is your favorite thing to do each day.

7. Your personality is adorable. You are so serious but we always know how to make you smile. You love to chase your big sister on you daddies back and you love when we dance around you. And you love anything that your sister does. Harper can make you smile so easily. Lillian is such a laid back baby. She is so happy as long as her mommy is holding her and she is fed .

Lillian you are amazing and so loving. Since you have had your tubes you have been such a laid back sweet baby. I love snuggling with you and watching you interact with your sister. I can already tell how much you guys love each other. We are so grateful to have you in our lives and we are looking forward to watching you grow and learn new things. We had some family pictures taken recently and so here are some of our favorites of our 7 month old beauty and a few of the family. Thank you Amy Jo for taking these beautiful family photo's for us.

Love this laugh

Love Day 2013

Valentines Day was fun this year. It was our  first valentine's day with Harper in MDO. So weeks prior we received a note home from school with some homework. Make 12 valentines for her classmates and a Valentines day bucket to put all her Valentines in. It was so fun. I looked around online and knew we wanted to do something animal related because Harper loves animals. So I ended up deciding to make an Owl using a milk carton and it turned out so cute.

Here is our little owl bucket.

And our 12 Valentines for Harper's class.

Aren't they adorable. I thought they were. I wanted more of a snack than candy. We also made her teachers the most adorable gift too. It had the cutest saying about M&M's and marvelous and magnificent teachers and we stuck it to an awesome tub of popcorn carton full of M&M mix and popcorn. Like a movie night treat. Wish I would have snapped a picture of it. Then to celebrate Valentines I surprised Brad and we headed to Houston to see Fun. in concert. It was so fun. HAHA... We had a blast and we really enjoyed hanging out with Uncle Mike and KK. It was the first time we have left the girls at night with family and stayed out late. Since Lillian was born we have only been to one dinner alone so it was nice to spend some quality time together doing something fun. We had a blast and special THANKS to PoPo and Honey for making that night out possible and having so much fun with Harper. They made cookies, valentines and sweet coffee mugs with her thumb print. She had an absolute blast ! Here are a few pictures of our little VALENTINES!!! I made their tutu's this year. We sure love them and do not need one day of the year to show them but Valentines is still fun.

Playing with their Valentines gifts.

Happy Valentines Day to everyone! Hope everyone had a great day like we did this year.

6 months BIG

Sweet Lillian 6 months BIG...
Here are your 6 month stats:

Height: 26.3 in  60%

Weight: 14 lbs 3 oz 14%

Head: 41.5 cm  26%

I was amazed to look back at your weights . You gained almost a pound as soon as we had your tubes put in. AMEN.... You feel so much better. It was a hard few months but you are feeling so much better and on the road to recovery. It is amazing how much happier you are. You are such a sweet baby I hated to see you so miserable. Anyways, we just wanted to say that we love you so much Lillian and are so happy that you feel better.

As for whats going on in your little life you are one busy baby. You were talking so much and then when they put the tubes in you were silent for 2 weeks. I was just starting to worry when you starting talking again. I guess you were just taking in the new sounds. You said the most beautiful thing the other day...MAMA!! You said DADA first but I had been patiently waiting and it melted my heart. It was kinda funny actually because I was bathing you guys and you said mama and Harper freaked out with excitement before I realized what you were saying. I think she knew how excited I would be. You are wearing size 3-6 month clothes and size 2 diapers. No teeth yet and I love your gummy smile. Harper's first tooth popped in around 7.5 months and I have a hunch that you will be about the same. We shall see. You are sleeping so much better. We recently had to do some sleep training which was the hardest mommy moment with you to date but it has really paid off for both of us. You sleep so much better and I can tell you feel better. Right now you go to bed between 7-8:30 and usually get up 2-3 am to eat. Then we put you right back and you are up between 5-8 am. It is still really new so not every night is the same but I am so proud of you and how well you are doing sleeping in your big girl bed. We started solids and you are not a huge fan but so far you seem to love avocado the best. We have done Avocado, Sweet Potatoes, Potatoes, and  Bananas . I started Green Beans tonight and you seemed to like them better than most. Harper never liked baby food so I am hoping you come to like it better. I think your personality right now is silly. You are such  a mommies girl now. If I walk in a room and you see me from across a room you suddenly start crying for me. It cracks me up. If I had a pouch you would live in it. You continue to love bath time and love sitting up on your own playing with all of your toys. Favorite toys right now are your washing machine and your doggy guitar. We are getting closer to crawling. Thinking it won't be long before you are off and I am chasing you everywhere! Well we continue to be crazy about you and your sister loves you like crazy. She loves making you smile! Here are a few pictures of our beautiful 6 month old daughter.

We love you baby girl.......
