I love holiday's on days I am off. :) I love to be home with family an extra day. It is so rare these days to be together all day that I love these days. Today we took it easy. Harper was up at 5:45 so we were up before the sun. We played with Harper most of the morning in the playroom and around lunch we started cooking. Brad started marinating ribs and Mimi made potato salad. We also got corn on the cob ready to be grilled and made some baked beans. Then we all loaded up and headed to Cici's house. Cici and papa and the Hill's are all down at the coast. We were sad to miss the trip but I had to work so we decided we would just go over to their house and swim for the evening. We had JJ and Pops meet us over there and we all hung out at the pool. Brad grilled all the food up and we had an amazing dinner. Harper was obsessed about the dog toys while we were there. She kept taking all the squeaky toys and balls from the basket. So finally I just gave in, cleaned them and let her play with them. Harper was exhausted because she only had a small nap so around 8 we headed home and called it a night. So now everyone is in bed and we are listening to the sound of fireworks.
