Baby Favorites..

Terrific Tuesday!

It's 30 weeks and counting, and things are going great! I'm feeling good and getting around better on the foot. Brad found me a new brace that seems to help with swelling, which is nice. It seems to only be horrible when I'm working long hours, so hopefully the new brace will help when I return back to work tomorrow. I'm loving day shift so far, It's amazing how tired I am when I get home. I'm sure I havent fully converted to the schedule yet but sleeping in now seems to be 8:00-9 at the latest . This will really be nice having a new baby. I'm so much more productive on this schedule than I could have ever imagined, which leaves lots of shopping time. So topic today is Baby Favorites! I have spent so much time searching on the web finding fun stuff for Harper and I thought I would share some fun things I have found on the blog today. So here we go...

First, I recently purchased the stroller system and since we went with a neutral color and want to hopefully use it again, I purchased Harper an Infant Car Seat Cover. I am hopeful we can keep the car seat in better condition, since I plan on pulling it off and washing it regularly. I love the pattern and the website!

The website is ritzybaby.com and it ships instantly for impatient people like me.

Second, I was looking for a cute diaper cover of some sort for 3 month pictures. And I recently became a fan of BabyBellaMaya on facebook to help support Layla Grace foundation, and found the cutest tights with Frill! So here is a picture of Harper's new tights!

This is one of my favorite purchases so far. I love them, and because I am currently a Fan , I received free shipping on today's order. LOVE A GOOD DEAL.. And while on the website I also picked Harper up the cutest little slip on Kimono style shoes.

Third, in support of Layla Grace as well, I happen to stumble across a lady on Etsy.com that was donating proceeds 50% if you ordered from her directly. She makes the most beautiful little headbands and hats. So I have ordered a few headbands for Harper on here. They are all so cute and I cant wait to take some pictures in them. If you go to Etsy.com her name is Bellas Boutique.
Here is a picture of one little headband we bought.

Fourth,I have been on the hunt for a simple diaper bag. I did not want anything to busy as I was afraid I would get tired of it quickly. I wanted something not to big or to small and of coarse Pink in color. So I ended up buying a diaper bag from Kalencom and its Eco friendly which I love.

Its so simple , and I ended up getting a discount as well, YEAH..

And last, Brad and I have been searching long hours on the Internet to find a wall monogram for Harper's room. I wanted something very girlie to go above her bed with her whole name on it. So we finally ordered the perfect one, again off Etsy.com , which is now one of my favorite websites and here is the picture to give you an idea or what it will look like. Of course it will have Harper Lynne Warren instead, and we opted for no birthday so we could hang it before arrival..

So, I hope that everyone loves Harper's new stuff. I'm always a fan of sharing neat websites or baby buys . So please share if you find a website or store. We have the
3D sono Monday , so I plan on posting pictures as soon as possible. Have a great week and Easter of course.

A Butternut Squash

Isn't our baby CUTE!!

2.5 lbs and 15 inches long!! According to baby center, we are somewhere around the weight of a butternut squash. Not sure I even know how to picture that as a weight but overall must be pretty big considering we use to be the size of a poppy seed. I can tell she is getting big because I am getting more uncomfortable by the day. It's funny how I cant even imagine getting any bigger at this point and I have so much more to go...We have had a great weekend. Brad actually got to come home for the weekend, and so we spent some time together and then had a scrabble night with Kristen and Bobby. We ended the weekend with some more SNOW.. Snow in the end of March, WOW! The flakes were falling as we drove home the other night but I did not expect to see 6 inches covering the ground the next morning. It was beautiful! Brad had been sick that night so we relaxed all day and cooked comfort food and watched movies. Mom was here with Miss Maggie so we had the new little puppy for entertainment. My foot is healing much better now. It has been very bruised and sore but so much better than it was. Dr. N said that it could possibly be sore the rest of the pregnancy since my balance is off from being pregnant. So I am so grateful that it continues to improve. On a really exciting note, Brad and I had the chance to go look at strollers this weekend. We finally decided just to go with the Chicco travel system and picked a gender neutral one so that we could possibly share with any siblings that might come along later. So Brad put it together last night and we had a practice run with Emma the baby.. She is going to make such a good BIG SISTER :). So two more weeks and we are going to do our 3D sono, which I am so excited to do . I feel like its been forever since we have seen our little one. Hopefully we will get some great face pictures. So I guess that's the most recent update. Hope everyone is having a great weekend. Here are a few pictures of the new stroller and puppy.

3 weeks of Medical Treatment!

Well, its week 27 ! Only 3 weeks since the last time I have updated the blog yet so much has happened. First off , about three weeks ago I was really sick. Not sure exactly what it was, maybe a virus or just pregnancy vomiting coming back , but I was so sick that I ended up going to Carenow. They quickly sent me to Baylor Hospital because my vitals pointed to being very dehydrated and my lab results were alittle funny. So thank goodness my mom happened to be visiting so she could be my buddy while sitting at Baylor for about 12 hours to get 4 bags of fluids and many tests to get my ketones out of my urine(which happens when you are really dehydrated). So everything turned out to be okay, which I was so grateful for of course. Harper looked good on the monitor and actually was making so much noise moving around in there they had trouble keeping her monitored. :) Crazy little girl!! So after recovering from that mess , I have been feeling better , I continue to struggle with some nausea at times but overall much better. Then this week, I met Amy to have a pedi and manicure and we had a great dinner at Pei Wei. As I went to leave I somehow fell of the curb and fell off my sandal. Not sure how I managed to hurt my ankle so bad , but it immediately had significant swelling and major pain. So I headed back to Carenow,(which I am now a VIP member of) and had some X-rays done just to make sure I didn't break anything in the foot. It turns out I just sprained it really bad, but when I say Bad , I MEAN BAD.. My foot was huge and so sore I could barely walk. Again mom jumped in the car and drove to Dallas again to help out, so glad I have such and Awesome mom!!! Brad has been really busy at work trying to finish a house in Port O Conner so he has been out of town more than normal. Poor guy, he has felt so horrible not being present in all my DRAMA.. So now I'm hanging out in bed, ended up having to take a week off work , and going to see the OB today just so he can check up on Harper since her mother is a total CLUTS. So really we are doing good, just had an interesting few weeks. On a great note, my dad and Kelly sent Brad and I are Glider and Raquel sent us our bath stuff and we LOVE IT all. Brad already put everything together and I'm looking forward to rocking my sweet girl. So here are some pictures of the NASTY looking foot and new baby stuff. Ill keep everyone posted on the appointment and the 28 week belly shot as well. THANKS to my mom for all her help recently and THANKS to the gifts we are receiving, we are so lucky!
