First Dance Class

Harper starts dance!

Hard to believe my first baby is already old enough to start dance class. She had been saying she wanted to try dance so Brad and I decided it was time to let her give it a try. Turns out she loves it and her teacher keeps saying she has perfect ballerina feet ( PERKS OF TIPPY TOEING) HaHa! Here are some pictures of our little ballerina before her first dance class.

Last Summer Beach Trip

We headed back to the coast for our final trip before the winter started and we met up with Uncle Mike and KK. We all decided to drive down to Rockport and spend the day together. We did some fun shopping and had lunch. We love Rockport on the coast. It is such a neat town and we had a great time spending time with family and relaxing.

After everyone went home we had the chance to spend some quiet family time together and we decided to head down to Corpus to go to the Aquarium. It is so weird because I grew up going there when I was little and never did I imagine we would take our kids there so many years later. But the kids love it and we had so much fun hanging out there together. First we made a quick stop at Joe's Crab Shack for a little seafood.

Lillian's Paris Party

Lillian's first birthday was such a blast. I always do the kids first birthday in what I decorated their room with. So for Lillian her room is Paris and I thought it would be fun to have a Paris Cafe theme. We worked so hard to make it adorable and I think we did such a great job. Special thanks to Mimi for helping me make the decorations, to the balloon guy who came and made balloon art for all the kids and to everyone who made Lillian's day special by coming and celebrating.

We had a  French Cafe  menu by having Soups and Chicken salad and cheeses for lunch . And we had little hats and mustache props and we also had yummy poodle , and lip lollipops. It was so much fun and I hope Lillian looks back at her first birthday and loves it as much as I did. Happy First Birthday Sweet Girl.

My beautiful baby girl is already ONE! Lillian you are growing up so fast and we are enjoying every minute watching you blossom into a little toddler. What are you doing at ONE? You are talking some but just a hand full of words.

Your just so silly. You are such a funny girl. I know we have said this many times but you do things that make us laugh without even trying. Your personality reminds me of your daddy. Speaking of daddy ,you look just like your daddy. You love to play alone and are so laid back. Food, toys, nap and bath time and you are one happy kid. You are sleeping about the same . You get up twice a night and around 7 every morning. You are still taking two naps . Usually around 10 and then again around 2 and we try to have you in bed by 8 at night. Sometimes you cry and sometimes you go right to sleep but overall you do great in your bed. You love your sister. Harper sleeps in sometimes and the minute she gets up you clap your hands and smile so big when you see her the first time. It warms my heart. I do have to say when you are annoyed by your sister we all know. You cry and push her away..

Summer at the Coast.

Every year we take advantage of the warm weather down at the coast with daddy. I look forward to this time of year even though it is so much work to travel 7 hours once a month for multiple months in a row but well worth the extra family time that we have. This year was very exciting because Lillian was able to enjoy it so much more this year and Harper went fishing at the coast for the first time. Let me tell you she did amazing and had a blast. Here are some fun pictures from the fun in the sun.

Sprinkle Harper with Love

Harper's 3 rd birthday party this year was a blast. In  true Harper tradition she started  the week off sick. Haha! Last year her party was cancelled due to Hand Foot and Mouth. This year she had a virus so I was so happy that my girl was feeling better quick and the party went on ...

We did a Sprinkled With Love theme this year because she loves to put sprinkles on everything from donuts to her cinnamon rolls.

So I felt like it was a fun little theme for her. So we invited a few friends and all our family to come play. We started off having some brunch.

Everything from Kolaches, French toast, egg/ham cheese muffins,quiches, fruit ( natures sprinkles) to even a sprinkled doughnut hole tower.

 Then after some food and coloring ( sprinkling the paper with color ) we headed into the dining room to sprinkle the cupcakes.

 We made different flavored cupcakes and let the kids all decorate cupcakes for fun. Mimi made all the kids adorable little aprons and hats and I bought every thing you could possible dream up to decorate cupcakes with. I think the kids loved it and they looked so cute all dressed up. We even had these little plastic cupcake holders so that each person could decorate and take home some cupcakes too.

Also we had a Sprinkle yourself with accessories station. That was a hit. We had bow ties, glasses, crowns, cupcake hair clips, bracelets , and even some stick on mustaches.

After decorating we headed outside to some bubble blowers and spray bottles ( sprinkle the plants with water) and blew bubbles, sprayed away and jumped in the bounce house. The kids absolutely loved the bubble blowers.

Next we headed back in to open gifts and sing Happy Birthday and eat some cake. Harper was super shy this year opening gifts. We all ended up helping her and we are so grateful for all the awesome gifts that she was given. We are so thankful for the amazing friends and family we have that showered  not sprinkled Harper with love. She got a new vanity, tons of dress up stuff, clothes , swim lessons, princess pool , remote control car , new water table, swim lessons and even a dora microphone. She loves it all..

Then to end the party we decided to blow up the pools we had and fill them with water and all the kids jumped in and played until they were all exhausted. It turned out to be such a great party and I hope that Harper enjoyed it as much as I thought she would. I just always want her to know how special she is to us ! Happy Birthday Harper ! We love you bunches!
