Labor Day 2012

Labor Day Weekend 2012 was a whirl wind. We got home from the coast that Thursday before and we were planning to leave the next Wednesday morning, so we had a million things to do in just a few days. But it was also alot of fun. We were able to visit with some friends and get a few things done before heading out again. We were able to meet up with The McNulty's and the Norton's on Saturday night which was really fun. We had a family night over at Cheri's house and everyone went swimming and then ate dinner together. Harper had the best time with Aubrey. They giggled and played together great. We got the funniest video of the girls laughing so hard . If only we knew what they were telling each other.

We just all turned around and this is what we saw. The girls cracking up !

Lillian and Caroline also had a chance to hang out. Although most of the time they were sleeping or eating , I am sure they are going to grow up to be great friends. That night right before we left to go home down at the Harbor they shot off some fireworks. It was hysterical because Harper was excited and then when Brad took her outside it scared her. She came in the door and said" They are butiful but scare me"! Ha Ha!! Then on Labor Day we met Deeanna and Matt and the girls to have lunch so Harper and Kymber could see each other. It was so nice to visit and the girls enjoyed playing with each other in the booth. Haha. Here is a picture of the girls on Labor Day.

We had a great holiday weekend. More than anything I am just enjoying our time with friends and family. Oh how I wish maternity leave lasted forever! Hope everyone had a safe holiday.

PIGTAILS

Well I finally attempted the PIGTAILS... Yep there are about 4 strands of hair in each pigtail but hey I can now say Harper has had her hair done like a true toddler. Pretty cute I must say.

And this picture is just one of my favorites. She is so beautiful. Natural Beauty!!

And this little one, is beautiful too.. 5 weeks old !!

LOVE MY GIRLS...

Weekend fun down South.

This past Friday at the coast Mimi and I decided to venture out. So I googled Victoria, Tx to see what there was to do with kids. They had a children's museum and I know we go to them all the time, but I love children's museums. And it was only 3$ ! So we headed out alone with the girls and it took about an hour. It was a tiny place and I cannot lie , it was perfect. It was so small in fact I could sit in one chair and watch Harper run around the whole place. Can we say AWESOME! Lillian did great strapped in her Baby K'Tan and we played for almost two hours. Then we met Brad for lunch and ate at Olive Garden. We had a fun day , except Mimi and I made a few oopsies on the way back and it took us forever to get home. Let's just say Mapquest isn't as good down south. Haha

Then on Saturday we decided to venture out to Rockport. It was about an hour away as well and we had a great lunch seaside with the girls. And then shopped at a few gift stores before hitting up Walmart for some groceries and a few new toys for Harper for down at the coast. I try to leave them so we do not have to travel with tons of toys.

It was a fun weekend.

Lillian's One Month

I cannot believe how fast the last four weeks has gone. I guess we have been so busy and traveling so much that its hard to believe you have been in our lives already 4 weeks. Funny thing is that I feel like you have been here forever. You are the sweetest little girl. You have such a sweet personality and everyday you are changing so much. Right now you are eating every 2-3 hours around the clock. Nights are still rough. Usually one 3 hours stretch and then a two and then every hour after that until 8 am when you are ready for a good nap. We are still having reflux issues which I hate. But it is better with the Prevacid than before. If we use Gripe water as well it seems to help to. I have you up on the wedge at night and I still hear you wretch and vomit. You spit up a bunch so mommy is constantly changing your clothes and blankets but at least we are seeing some improvement in your comfort level. You have beautiful dark blue eyes just like your sister did at birth which I am sure will be hazel at some point and you have some hair but not much at this point. I would say more than Harper did. I wonder if it will curl like your sister!. You are starting to coo and I love it. And almost ready to smile . I am thinking in the next two weeks we will see that pretty grin. We have been sitting outside in the breeze at night while Daddy and Harper hit golf balls and you love the evenings. I love when you are awake and happy and just content playing with mommy. You have been such a blessing to our family and I cannot wait to see how you change and grow. We love you so much !!! I forgot to pack your one month sticker to take pictures in so for this month your first sand beach pictures will do . So here are a few pictures of our beautiful ONE month old Lillian Mae.

Lillian visits POC

On Saturday morning we all headed out to the coast. Mike and KK were lucky enough to get a few days off with us so they decided to come with us to the coast. Funny thing is that KK hasn't been down since we brought Harper the first time at 5 weeks old so only fitting she came when Lillian had her first visit at 4 weeks old.  WE have enjoyed our time with family so much the last week. With my schedule enjoying weekends with family is so rare and watching Harper have so much fun with them is so heart warming. I wish we lived closer. So we took Harper and Lillian to the pool and played in the sand. We also shopped at the two stores in town and cooked big meals at night and then rented movies to relax. It was suppose to rain the whole week but we only had one 15 min shower the whole week. Uncle Mike and KK left on Tuesday and so Mimi, Harper, Lillian and Daddy have been here the rest of the time alone. We are so blessed to be able to travel with daddy while I am on maternity leave. Family time is so special and I am going to miss this time when I go back to work.

Special thanks to Mike and KK for spending so much time with Harper and helping out so much. It was so nice to have so much help.

Lillian's First Road Trip

After getting home from our grandparents visit we immediately loaded up and headed to Houston. We were headed to POC actually but wanted to break up the trip some for the girls and of coarse visit with family. So we left town Thursday night and made it to Houston. Harper is obsessed with Uncle Mike and KK so she was so excited to stay at their house. We made plans to take Harper to the Houston Children's Museum on Friday  morning and we met Popo and Honey there. Ironically they had a Groupon special the day before so we got an awesome deal . It was HUGE.. Almost overwhelmingly huge! But Harper had a great time and Lillian she slept most of the time in someones arms. Spoiled baby girl. Daddy and Uncle Mike played golf most of the day but had a great time doing that. After the museum we all went to lunch and spent some time together before heading home. Our first few nights on the trip we did not get much sleep so we were all exhausted.

So here are a few pictures from the museum.

Funny moment at the museum:
This cute little boy got on the elevator with us and he was with his grandparents. OMG his diaper was horrible and we were all freaking out. Funny thing was they never noticed. Seriously how could you not know when everyone in the building is suffocating. I swear everywhere we went he showed up and I was so paranoid that everyone thought it was us. We laughed about it for two days. I think grandpa's sniffer was faulty.
