August 4th was Brad's 32 Birthday and we had a Partee to celebrate. Brad has been into golf lately so we thought we would have a golf themed birthday party and get him some golf stuff he had been wanting. Thank you to MiMi for doing the shopping for the party for me since I could not drive yet and also to Cici for making Brads butterfinger cheesecake. Mimi did lots of research on Pintrest for all the cute golf ideas and I had a friend make Brad a cake. I had a few surprises for Brad. I bought the girls matching golf shirts with their names on them and I also managed to order Brad 84 bags of his favorite discontinued chips .. I think Brad had a good time and it was nice to have some family time. Thanks again to everyone who sent and brought gifts . We love everyone...

Lillian is 2 weeks old.

Lillian had her two week appointment Friday with Dr. B. She weighed in at 7 lbs exactly which is more than I thought she would weigh. That is a great weight considering we came home at 5 lbs 14 oz.
Weight: 10 %
Length: 50%
Head: 10 %

She continues to struggle with horrible reflux. I think Daddy and I are so upset to watch you struggle with this. Its the  eat, spit, cry and beg for more even though that will make you feel worse trend. Dr. B changed you from Zantac to Prevacid. Can you believe that even with insurance its 100$ a month. The lady at CVS told us that without insurance it is 220$. But all this said , it is so worth the money if it helps Lillian to feel better. Sleeping is the same . Most nights I am lucky if you go two hours before waking up. It is hard but we are managing. I try to let daddy sleep but he is always so good to help if I am just exhausted. You are so beautiful Lillian. You look so much like your sister did but I can already tell your differences. You love to be snuggled. I though the second child would be more laid back because I would be busy with Harper but you are proving me wrong. You get so sad if I put you down unless you are asleep. I am guessing you are going to be my needy second girly girl. And that is okay with me for sure. I love holding you and I know this time will pass fast. Your cord just fell off at 2 weeks and 2 days old so I have given you two tub baths and so far you scream until I get you wrapped up and warm but then you like it. Funny thing is the very first tub bath I gave you , there was a huge poop explosion within the first 30 seconds of being in the tub. Daddy had to run in and clean the tub and refill so we could bath you. HaHa. We love you so much princess and you are already growing so quick. I cannot wait to see who you grow up to be but I want it to go so slow because I cherish this time.

Bowling

It has been so hot these days that we have been spending so much time in doors. Especially with the bed rest, baby and hot temps. So Brad and I have been trying to get Harper out a little the last week. We decided last week to take her bowling for the first time. There is this place really close to our house that is perfect because it is never busy early evenings so we decided to go there since we were taking Lillian. Less people equals less stressed mommy. Harper seemed to love it, although she did loose interest eventually and seemed to be more into the hand dryer. But it was adorable to see her cheer on daddy when he would bowl. We put up the gutter guards and used the ball ramp for her and it was perfect. Here are a few pictures from Harper's first bowl.

Newborn Pictures

We had Erica come and take newborn pictures for us again. She did Harper's first year and again it was a crazy mess as pictures are when you have a newborn and a toddler. But she did amazing and I cried the whole way through because its so hard for me to believe my Harper is getting so big and that Lillian is already here. What an amazing life we have and we are overwhelming blessed. I could watch this a million times ! Enjoy....

Lillian's Maternity Shoot

At 36 weeks we took our maternity photo's with Amy and we just got them in the mail today. I love them and they are already so special. Hard to believe that I was that pregnant . It goes so quick. So just so I remember the day it was about 100 degrees outside and Harper fell within the first 5 minutes on the concrete and screamed her head off for 10 minutes. This was for sure a challenge for Amy and we think she did a great job. So here are a few of my favorites from that shoot.

Our Hospital Stay

I wanted to post some pictures from our hospital stay. We took so many I just want to always remember some of these special ones forever.

Lillian's first bath.

Our good friends the McNulty's had sweet Caroline the day before and how neat was it that we could visit each other in the hospital. These girls are going to be great friends.

Uncle Mike and KK

Spending some time snuggling with my new peanut.

My favorite visitor every day!

PoPo and his granddaughter.

This moment I will never forget. Harper was scared of me in the hospital bed for the first two days. I was so emotional I broke down and cried like a baby because she would barely hug me but she finally did. I know its scary to a toddler but I was so glad she finally paid me some attention.

Little sister hat.

Daddy snuggle time.

My favorite time. Harper finally held her sister and they had the cutest matching outfits on.

Family of 4!

Jello and cartoons

A kiss or two.

Daddy bought her this outfit and she looked adorable in it.

Headed home in her sweet outfit Mimi bought her.

And one last picture before discharge

A few sweet Lillian pictures.

Brad and I having a lunch date together alone :) !

And my favorite of Uncle Mike.

I could probably post a million pictures .
