Lillian's Ear

Well we finally met again with the ENT because your ear infection took another rocephin series to get it well. I hate watching my baby have shot after shot to make it better. She has been so miserable for a while now and we have had it. So we scheduled the tubes to be put in as soon as possible. He ended up doing them the next morning. I was so STRESSED and having trouble accepting that my baby was going to be put asleep for a short period of time but she did great. ENT had some trouble getting it in the right ear but was successful and so we have had some improvements around our house almost instantly. Bedtime is better . You are still getting up and wanting to sleep with us but no screaming inconsolable. And you are sleeping longer periods of time. Overall you are just happier! I am so grateful my baby feels better. We will see over the next few months how this impacts everything. But here are a few pictures of my baby before her procedure.

Mommy and daddy working hard to keep you happy ! You had been NPO and where ready to eat!

This is post surgery after her nap and food. She was a little happier and playing !

Pajama Day

Harper had her first Pajama Day at school and baby sister decided to support and dress along. My silly girls were impossible to get a photo of that morning but they are still pretty adorable.

Snow day #2

This morning was the craziest morning of weather in my life thus far. It was storming hard ! I was sleeping and enjoying the sound of thunder and the lightning. This difference was when I got up and looked out to see what the weather was like I saw that we were covered in white snow. I am usually such a weather  girl and always know when we have potential for snow but I had no idea and I also had no idea you could have a winter thunderstorm. CRAZY.. But it was such a beautiful surprise and we loved it.

Beautiful isn't it !

Kangeroo Baby

Just wanted to post these random pictures of Lillian and I . This pretty much sums up how clingy this girl is. She loves to ride along! One happy baby when she is being toted around. Love her though and would not change a thing even if it is hard to get anything done.

Cutest smile ever I might add!!

One Big CAR!!

So funny thing is that when Brad and I had Harper, and I mean weeks before we had Harper, we rushed out and bought the Highlander. It was rated safest SUV at the time and we  needed more space ! At that time we were only adding one child .... Maybe we were a little dramatic but " HEY" we were first time parents. So now as our family expands ( and I mean from 3 in our house to 5 with Mimi) we needed a bigger car already. We seem to travel so much and with all of us and the dogs it was just such a stressful situation all the time. So Brad went out and brought me this home. I am still adjusting because I never thought I would be driving a car so huge but overall I think I am going to love it. It is a little hard to park but I absolutely love all the room. So here it is our new suburban!

Brad laughed because I never even wanted to go test drive them. Honestly at the time I thought of all the trouble it would be to get someone to watch the kids just to run over and drive it.. We still needed the car even if I decided it was too big . So I jumped right in and we all love it now. I was so disappointed because I thought it would not fit in the garage but come to find out it does and I have mastered the job now so loving our new car is all I have to say! Guess our next step is an econovan! HAHA!!! I do want to say though that I will miss our highlander deeply. We brought home both our kids in that car and it was really been an awesome car. I was sad to see it go but happy to be more comfortable with space.

Two and a Half

Harper Lynne Warren , as you would say!! When did you become so grown up.. You are so funny at this age. Well actually lets be honest. You are like a mini daily roller coaster. One minute you are hysterical and then a minute later you are having a melt down. Haha...
So what have you been up to these days?
 Everything!!!
You are starting to love MDO. Last week you didn't even cry when I took you to class. And when you came home you told me the funniest story in which I later found out you were fudging a little for a boy we believe you have a crush on .. Your teachers and I cracked up. I also found out you hold his hand any buddy time they have and sitting by him in reading circle. OH MY, I hope we are not already thinking about boys because this mother would fall out. But if it has to be a little guy he is the cutest stinking thing in the class.
You are so social and talk amazingly well. Full sentences and it is so clear anyone can understand you. You are getting an imagination and I love that. We now have tea parties and dress up together and your imagination runs wild. The things you tell me sometimes amaze me. Tonight you told me " That's Silly Business" when I asked you to take off your princess dress from over your jammies for bedtime. SILLY BUSINESS..... now where did you hear that???? Haha...You are so smart Harper. You know lots of songs, your alphabet , and can count to over 20. You know shapes , and colors and every animal and where they live. You are so caring and I love to hear you tell us you missed us or that you love us more that chocolate. You wait so long to hear them tell you that they love you and it is all true how much it melts your heart. You are wearing 18-24 month clothes and sometimes 2 T. Size 6 shoe and eating everything in sight. Not sure how you stay so tiny because I personally saw you eat a grown mans helping of donuts this am. Completely potty trained for months and getting close to weaning off your night diaper. The only time you accident now is if we drink a bunch and then you fall asleep randomly. You are so outgoing and love to be outside. Bedtime continues to be the hardest part for you. We have tried everything from bedtime buddy( your new betta fish) to putting a 30 minute movie on in your room.

Meet Princess Blue Fish..... Harper's bedtime buddy and first pet of her own.

It is better but I am hoping that when Lillian gets older we can put you girls together and I think you will both love it. Harper already asks for Lillian to sleep with her. We love you and how independent you are becoming. You are our curly headed little monster and we love every minute we get to spend together....Here are a few pictures of how big my FIRST BORN has become.

WE LOVE YOU SWEET ANGEL!!
