Christmas 2012

Another Christmas has come and gone by so quick. It is hard to believe I was barely pregnant with Lillian last Christmas and now we have another amazing little girl to celebrate. We had a very busy holiday this year with 3 different Christmas celebrations.

First stop : Honey and Popo's house! Have I said lately how spoiled these girls are...

And also how adorable they are!!

They even had a surprise visit from Santa.

Notice how thrilled Harper is ! HaHa!!

The cutest ladybug rocker ever.

Tea party with the new her new table.

Thanks again Honey and Popo for the great christmas. We appreciate all the perfect gifts. Including our year memberships to the new museum and to the zoo.

AMAZING SIDE NOTE: My AMAZING husband surprised me while we were at Honey and Popo's house he had our carpets removed and hard wood floors put in . I had no idea that while we were down there our family was helping to move everything out and have put in the most beautiful hard wood floors. As we pulled around the corner in the neighborhood I saw this huge sign in the front of the house that said " Merry Christmas" Love , Brad. Brad has never been able to surprise me like this . Wow... I was so excited and completely floored.. literally!!! I love love love them..

 The final pictures!

Aren't they perfect... I sure love this man.....

SECOND: Next we had Christmas at the house with Uncle Mike and KK. They were able to come up and we made special plans to take them to ICE. They had never been before and so we were really excited to take them as well as Lillian. This year was Madagascar and it was awesome as usual. So we spent the morning at ICE and then headed home to eat a Christmas Eve dinner and exchange gifts. I was so worried about taking Lillian and she was perfect. She fell asleep before going in and woke up inside the exhibit and enjoyed it so much.

After spending the day with the people we love and opening more perfect gifts we put the kids to bed and got everything ready for Christmas morning.

Isn't God good. Our family is so blessed to be able to provide a wonderful Christmas for my girls. They had a great morning. Harper was so funny that morning . We let her sleep with us and when she woke up she said she didn't want to go in there to see her presents because she was scared of Santa. Haha, we had to explain that he didn't stay just left her gifts and she finally came out but was  still slow to check out her stuff. I think next year she will really enjoy it all more.

After unwrapping and saying goodbye to Uncle Mike and KK. :( Which is always so hard to do . We played with the girls with all the new toys. Mimi ended up going to Henderson last minute so we just played, cooked some food for dinner and watched the weather come in. It was beautiful and a true snow blizzard. Lots of snow and lots of wind.

THIRD STOP: Off to the Warren's House

Well not before a nap! Isn't she precious in her special made Xmas outfit! Love her!!

The loves of my life!

This one cracks me up! Poor Lillian !

Beautiful Christmas day snow!

We had a blast at the Warren's that night . We had good food and perfect gifts but for some reason I did not get a single picture.

It has been another amazing year and We the Warren's would just love to say we hope all of our friends and family have another great year to come. Happy Holidays!!

SNOW SNOW SNOW

Day after Christmas The Clugston's called us to see what we had planned for the day since it had snowed. We had more snow then out where they live so they ended up coming over so the girls could play in it together. So we bundled up all the kids and played in the yard. Not sure what Harper thought. I think she liked it but she had to get use to it first. On the side of the house is a huge hill and man it was perfect to go sliding with the kids. So here are some pictures from that super fun snow day!! I hope it snows again this season.

5 month Beauty

Our baby is 5 months old...

This is so crazy! How does time fly by this quick. I have to say I think I know why and how this time is flying by. I have not said much about what is going on due to the fact that I truly haven't had much time to post about it. Since about 3 .5 months old you have been struggling with horrible ear infections Lillian. It has been really hard . Your right ear seems to be where we have the biggest issue. We have had you on abx the entire last month and a half. After many antibiotics   many appointments at the doctor , a pedi change and Ent visit I think we are on the right track. We will probably be putting tubes in your ears as soon as possible. But it has been a really hard road. During these last few weeks you have been inconsolable at times , sleeping is so bad with usually only 45 min stretches and constant feeding issues. We love you so much and just want you to feel better so we are doing everything we can to help you get there. All this said here is what you have been up to the last month.

Clothes: 3-6 months
Diapers : Size 2
Eyes: Greenish Hazel

You are such a beautiful girl Lillian. And when you feel good you are amazingly happy. You love to be held but also love your bouncer. You love playing with your toys and are babbling and occasionally saying " Dada" which secretly ( not so secretly now) makes me jealous. Haha...
You are so ticklish and love bath time. And when you feel the worse I always give you a warm bath to make you feel better. No one can make you laugh like Harper. It is still by far the most adorable thing to me. I love how much you love her. You are still small somewhere around 13 lbs. We are working on sitting up alone and you are getting so close . This month for Christmas I received a new lens for my camera and you were my first little model. Who better than my sweet and adorable 5 month old. We love you baby girl and are so unbelievably blessed to be your parents. Happy 5 months Angel.

Santa Day 2012

Santa Day 2012

This year we met Jenn and the boys at Northpark to have a picture taken of all the cousins. As years go by in motherhood, I now look at the moments that do not go as planned as a new funny story instead of being disappointed. Harper is not a fan of the big bearded guy and never has been. This child has stranger danger down to a tee. So this years picture consists of everyone but her. And then Brad jumped in with her so we could have at least one with Santa. I personally chose not to force her for the" oh so famous screaming picture" in hopes of one year actually getting her to sit in his lap again. But we had a blast that day just hanging out together and doing a little shopping. We also went to see scrooge who was so adorable and grumpy :)... He really picked on Hayes and Holt and the kids seemed to really enjoy his performance. Here are a few pictures from our Santa day.

The Butterfly Exhibit

The Friday after Thanksgiving we got up early and headed out to downtown Houston to the Butterfly exhibit. Uncle Mike and KK came with us and it turned out to so neat. Harper had such a good time. The exhibit is so interactive. They have lots of neat bugs to look at and tons of butterflies of all colors pinned up to look at. The most exciting part is the exhibit where you can watch butterflies hatch. It is really amazing! It will probably be the only time in my life that I will be able to see something like that happen. At the end of the exhibit their is a butterfly garden( atrium) and it has tons of butterflies flying around that you can walk through. At first Harper was a little scared of them but quickly it grew on her. I have to say it was a little strange at first. They are flying all around you and they are so beautiful but I did not want them to land on me either. :) We had so much fun with family as usual and it was such a neat experience I hope we get the chance to go back when Lillian gets bigger.
