Furniture Shopping

Yesterday Brad and I met Cheri and we went shopping for baby furniture. It was only our first time to go but it didnt take long to find exactly what we we were looking for. We ended up buying at Lone Star Baby and Kids. The furniture is really girly, which I love. The plan is to have it convert and it be Harpers for a long time. Anyways, I love it and I hope everyone else loves it as much as we do . I think we have the bedding picked out as well and will be ordering it this week. Theme of the Room: Antique Lovebirds ! Im so looking forward to getting the room set up so I feel like she has a place ready in our home. We only bought the crib, dresser , bedside table and mattress. But here is the picture off the Munire furniture website so everyone can get an idea of what it looks like.

And here is a sneak peak at the bedding as well.

It will change a little because its a little to busy for us , but we love the birds! And also we bought a wall mount book holder that I thought will look really cute with some girly books.

So I look forward to posting some finished product pictures but it will be a while until everything is complete. But I promise to post some as soon as we get it all done. Let us know what you think!

Harper's Collection of Fun...

So, I had to post today with some of Harper's cute stuff she has been accumulating. There is so much stuff I will try to keep it to a minimum and sneak you a peak at this years Fashion Wardrobe. Mom and I ended up driving to Dallas today since I got cancelled from work . I had been wanting this one little onesie at Nordstroms with a cupcake on it so off we went. Well, they don't tell you in motherhood that no one ever goes into a baby store and comes out with one thing. So on a side note, let me just tell you I left with a lot of stuff but NO cupcake onesie!:) Everything is so ridiculously cute and you can actually picture your own child in it , even if I have no idea what Harper will look like. We also picked out a video monitor, which I think I'm going to love. Who couldn't love something that you can walk around the house with and look down and see your sleeping baby at any time. Wow, I love how technology has brought so many neat new things to parenthood. So here are a few of Harper's new clothes and her new video monitor.
Pink Video Monitor:

This one I could not walk away from, Pink Tutu Swimsuit and Shades.

I love the Kimono style outfits.

MORE PINK....

I love the gowns and they are so hard to find. I have only been able to find a few.
These little Sandals my friend Melissa sent to me from Denver. Thanks Mel..
This smocked dress, and Pink lace outfit are from Aunt Jenn , Uncle Heath and boys. So sweet. I'm thinking a PHOTO OP is needed for both .
And just a few more fun ones. Mom brought me the shoes with flowers , they are so cute we might have to even sleep in them. JUST KIDDING..
Sorry its such a long post but trust me its only a few things in the closet that's already full. Hope you love it all as much as I do. We cant wait to see a little someone in all of it this summer.

Port O Conner Mini Vaca

Its been such a nice week, we decided since I had a week off that I would come down with Brad to Port O Conner to hang out as he worked. It had been months since I had been able to come down, with the holidays and all the baby appointments and working , time has flown by. So we loaded up and I mean loaded to the TOP because Brad had to bring down some flooring and headed to the coast. Mom met us in Dallas and drove down with us too. I needed some company of course while Brad was at work. We also decided to bring down the dogs, which we had never done in the past. THEY love it. Emma loves water and sand and its been nice to let them go with out leashes . Its so beautiful out here and relaxing, at home I always feel like there is something that can be done. Mom and I worked on a sewing project, which ended up being a ton of laughs but finally complete. We made Harper a Buggy seat for when you go to the grocery store. Its cute and now we have the hang of it so maybe next time it wont take us FOREVER. Also this week has been so nice to be able to get up like a normal person in the morning , take Brad to work , cook lunch , go to the pool , and then cook dinner and watch t.v. Wow I would make the best house wife :) So anyways, just thought I would post a few pics from the week and show off Brads latest house . I am so proud of Brad and how Palmtree Resort Properties is coming along. And also I posted a picture of The Grady White, which we are looking forward to taking out this summer. Harper already has a bathing suit...

Pink, Pink and More Pink

So as you know, we went for our 20 week sono on Monday at about 4 p.m. and were so anxious to see our little one again. It had been so long since we had been able to sneak a peek at how much the baby had grown. I was so nervous and Brad was so laid back as usual, of course I was more concerned with the health of the baby then the gender. That part was just a perk. I think it was the NICU in me that had me all in a mess. But the sono went well and everything looked great so far. We had the sono lady video tape it so the family could see this sono and of coarse we had to record it to VHS , which was a funny story. Wow, those are hard to find these days, but Cheri is going to help us convert it over to DVD so thats exciting. We told the lady how we had been having an overwhelming vote towards GIRL from friends and family and She looked at us and said , Well they are RIGHT because I've been seeing GIRL parts this whole time. We laughed and were really excited to be able to refer to the baby as a girl .. So now the shopping offically begins even though I have been doing a little anyways:) , who can resist? But there are lots of Bows and Pink in the Warren House Future.. So here , as I promised, are some new pictures of what we call HARPER'S GLAMOUR SHOTS and of coarse one updated Belly Shot. The funny part is we never had a hard time agreeing on a girls name. WONDER WHY?? :)

So here she is,

Week 19

Just thought I would drop a few lines to update everyone on whats going on in the Warren Household. Brad has been home since the holidays and he has started back working away this week . It was hard for me as I have been enjoying having him around so much. We have done quite abit around the house the last few days. We finally decided on which room in the house we would use as a nursery. And we are going to do a little construction in the room before getting it ready for our little guy or girl. So we moved most of the stuff out and rearranged most of it in the house. Also I have been on some kind of cleaning stretch because over the weekend almost every pantry, closet or cabinet was cleaned and organized. So with work being slow and getting cancelled tonight , I plan on finishing up with our bedroom closet.. What a task that will be. On a pregnacy note, as of last week the morning sickness seems to have packed its bags and moved on. WHAT A RELIEF... Food actually looks good and I can tell that I am actually hungry more now. I have been asked quite a few times for some tummy pictures, so I have a 14 week picture that I will post and I promise that next week I will post a 2o week belly picture and sono picture as well. We are finally going Monday the 18th for the big Sono that will hopefully tell us the gender. I am so anxious, and looking forward to being able to put a name and a gender to the little person that I now feel moving around at times when I am still at night. Plus there is a room full of stuff already that everyone has givin us that will need to be exchanged one way or the other. So I hope that 2010 brings lots of Blessings for everyone as it has for us so far this year. And we promise to keep everyone posted on the BIG NEWS.
